Sandon buildings
and institutions

Notes on the Reco Hotels that Johnny Harris owned. The first, built by Ira Black in 1897, was purchased by Johnny in 1898, and burned in 1900. The second was built in 1900 and demolished in 1956.

Notes on the Harris Block, built in 1895-96 and burned in 1900.

Notes on the two Virginia Blocks. The first was built in 1898 and burned in 1900. The second was built in 1900 and collapsed in 1973, although its remains lingered for many years afterward.
